Introduction

On Monday the 23rd of June, the Gates Cambridge Scholars' Society will host Leadership for Positive Change at Cambridge University, UK. This symposium is the first of its kind in the UK, bringing together top international scholars from around the world (Gates, Rhodes, Marshall, Commonwealth, NIH, Fulbright) to share inspiration, discuss global challenges and build networks that will enable them to lead for positive change.

Location

The event will be held in beautiful Emmanuel College, where participants will conclude the day with a dinner in the old library and a social function at the historic Cambridge Union.

Schedule

The planned activities include lectures from invited speakers, panels/debates involving other scholars, a formal dinner and an evening social event with live music. The symposium will start early in the afternoon so that scholars from outside of Cambridge can come up in the morning.

Overnight accomodation

For those wishing to stay late on into the night, it may be possible to arrange inexpensive accommodation in colleges. If you would like to stay the night, please indicate this on your registration form.
